Hello Happy Bunnies families!
Here’s a quick look at what our Pre-K 4 students will be learning this week as we explore our theme, The Earth Around Me.
In science, we are learning about water and the different places we can find it through our activity Water, Water Everywhere. The children will talk about sources of water and learn simple ways we can save and conserve water.
During large group time, we will read the book Hey, Water! by Antoinette Portis, where students will build literacy skills by discussing the story and connecting it to their own experiences with water.
For our alphabet activity, Lake Letters, students will practice identifying uppercase and lowercase letters while strengthening their letter-sound recognition and fine motor skills.
In math, students will explore Ocean Gel Bags, a hands-on activity that helps them practice counting and early number skills through sensory play.
