We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, as established by the British Office for Standards in Education, which uses six overlapping age bands. Every child is different and children do not grow and develop at the same rate, or in the same way.
It's an integrated program that evolves as your child gains confidence and develops at Happy Bunnies.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets the standards that [Happy Bunnies] meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.
It promotes teaching and learning to ensure children’s ‘school readiness’ and gives children the broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for good future progress through school and life.

The Unique Child reaches out to relate to people and things through the Characteristics of Effective Learning, which move through all areas of learning.
Children develop in the context of relationships and the environment around them.
This is unique to each family, & reflects individual communities & cultures.
Prime areas are fundamental, work together, and move through to support development in all other areas.

Meet Happy Bunnies Director Magdalena MacLeod
Born to a family in the childcare and teaching sector for generations, Magdalena trained as a day care & pre-school teacher and graduated from the Slovak Pedagogical Academy in 1993 with distinction.
Then, 11 years ago, she took over a chain of centers in England that had been running for over 20 years. They provided the foundation for her early learning centers both in England and over here in Austin, Texas.
Today, she personally runs the Happy Bunnies Early Learning Center in Oak Hill, Austin. When you drop off your child at Happy Bunnies, you know they are in Magdalena's care, someone with decades of experience in the child care sector. You are not leaving them with an anonymous manager in a large corporate chain. She cares, and has the experience and the unique attention to detail that comes from owning and operating her own school.
Magdalena would love to meet you and show you around her Austin Happy Bunnies.

I have an 18 month old boy who has been attending school here since he was 3 months old. He loves his teachers and they love him back. He learns so much every day. It is amazing. Everyone at the school is so caring. They even put a misting system up so the kids can spend a little more time outside. Highly recommended.
We have been sending our son to Happy Bunnies since he was just 3 months old. (He’s 17 months now) The staff at HB are more like family now, and we couldn’t be any happier. I especially love it when my son brings home artwork from the fun activities that they plan. These tiny pieces of art are something that I will always cherish.
My 17 month old son has been attending Happy Bunnies (previously Child’s Way) full time since he was a little bitty 3 month old. This is my first child, and I was so terrified and hesitant to leave him. Ms. Alina was so kind and patient with me, sending photo updates and keeping in close contact with me to ease my fears. My son LOVES her, so much so that sometimes I get a little jealous - but what a great problem to have! Recently he's even been throwing fits when we come to pick him up because he's having so much fun that he doesn't want to leave. I’m incredibly thankful I have found a place that I trust, and that my son comes home tired and happy. I would recommend Happy Bunnies without hesitation, and I’m excited for all the adventures to come!
