Hello Happy Bunnies families!
Here’s a quick look at what our Toddlers will be learning this week as we explore our theme “Nursery Rhymes.”
This week children will explore nursery rhymes like “Little Miss Muffet,” “Little Boy Blue,” and “Three Little Kittens.” These stories help build early language skills, introduce new vocabulary, and encourage children to participate in storytelling and rhyming.
During our sensory activities, children will explore “real hay” and search for hidden toys. This fun activity encourages curiosity, discovery, and sensory exploration.
For creative play, children will make their own haystack art with tissue paper and explore painting with different shades of blue. They will also pretend to bake “cherry pies” using play dough and red pompoms during dramatic play.
Throughout the week, children will enjoy movement and hands-on learning by walking like spiders, pretending to be kittens, creating spider webs with paint, and exploring positional words like on, under, and inside.
These activities help support language development, creativity, sensory exploration, and social-emotional learning.
Thank you for your continued support. We are excited for a fun week of learning through nursery rhymes!
