Mammals and Farm Animals

Learning doesn’t stop just because we have lots of fun this Summer. Alongside outside play and splash days on Fridays, we also learn about mammals and farm animals this week.

Among other cool activities, we will choose an animal book from our classroom library and explore it with our children. We begin by looking at the photos or pictures and talking about the animals. Some questions we will ask: Is this animal a mammal? How do you know? If children are interested in a particular animal, we will read the text about that animal to learn some new facts.
