Hello, families!
This week in our Toddler classroom, we will be exploring the fun and familiar song **“Five Little Ducks!”** Our children will enjoy hands-on activities that will help build language, creativity, movement, and social skills.
We will read and act out the story of the Five Little Ducks using puppets, songs, and movement activities. The children will practice new vocabulary words, learn ASL signs like “duck,” “birthday,” and “party,” and participate in exciting group discussions.
During art and sensory time, we will paint with feathers, explore rubber ducks in the water table, and experiment with sink-and-float activities. These experiences will encourage curiosity, fine motor development, and early science skills.
For physical development, the children will flap their “wings,” play Ducky Hokey Pokey, feed the duck using tongs, and enjoy outdoor games like Duck, Duck, Goose and duck searches on the playground.
Throughout the week, we will continue encouraging communication, turn-taking, responding to others, and cooperative play in fun and meaningful ways. We are excited for a week full of music, movement, laughter, and learning!
Thank you for being part of our classroom family!
