Traditional Tales: Three Little Pigs

Hi Happy Bunnies families!

This week in our Toddler classroom, we’re diving into our Traditional Tales theme, focusing on The Three Little Pigs!

Throughout the week, your children will be building their thinking skills by exploring stories like The Three Little Pigs and The Girl Who Built the Ocean. We’ll also be doing fun, hands-on activities like building houses for piggies and exploring textures through sensory play with sand, water, and more.

For language development, we’re introducing new sign language words like fish, three, and house, and learning a fun nursery rhyme, “This Little Piggy.”

Social-emotional growth is a big focus too! We’ll practice calming techniques with “Huff and Puff” breathing and build connections through I Love You Rituals.

We’ll also get moving with exciting physical activities like Piggy Footprints, Pig Jig dancing, and even rolling like little piggies!

And of course, we’ll have creative fun with art, dramatic play, and even a little cooking!
