Learning Shapes

Hi, Happy Bunnies parents and friends!

Last week was all about colors. This week, we are learning about shapes! Our song, “If You Clever and You Know It – Find My Shape,” in a very clever way, motivates children to recognize and identify shapes in their environment using everyday objects.

Our problem-solving project of the week is SIMPLE MACHINE BUILDING. This Monday, the children will decide what machines they want to build, what materials we will need, and what tools we will use to achieve our goal.

In the process, we will not only learn critical thinking and problem solving but we will work on building our gross and fine motor skills.
