Awesome Me!

This is the beginning of the new school year!

We said our goodbyes to the big children who ventured off to school and welcomed our new friends to our own school.

So, to get to know each other, our theme this week is “All About Me”.
This week, we will learn about our immediate family and, later, extend to relatives, pets, and our community. Children will discuss the similarities and differences in their families and celebrate the support they receive from their grandmas and grandpas, uncles and aunties, and community members.
We will challenge our preschoolers to find letters around the classroom; we will “cook a color item soup” for our math sorting and matching activity, and we will learn about balloon breathing so we can overcome frustrations that are just normal parts of our lives.

Our STEAM activity for this week will be creating our own fruit and vegetabgle salad, we will talk about helping each other and how much faster work flows when we do it all together as a team.
