We made our very own personal  pizzas!  Me and Ms. Kayla cut the pizza dough into the shape of a heart for each child, we made sure to identify the shape aloud with kiddos. We then assisted the children with scooping the sauce out of the jar and guiding them to spread their sauce. We demonstrated how to sprinkle some cheese and place pepperonis and we then let them do it themselves with guidance.

This was a great hands on activity for our littles to use their taste, smell, and touch. We practiced great handwashing skills both before and after. After baking the pizzas they all got to indulge in their yummy creations!
