A Home from Home

Children playing with Peppa and our other guinea pigs

We create a “home away from home” environment in all our schools.

In Oak Hill, Austin, we have small group sizes. Even though our place is a bit bigger, we create the atmosphere of a small, caring daycare. You get the benefits of a well-organized daycare chain (flexible opening hours) with the benefits of a small center (the personal touch, love and care).

At Happy Bunnies, your child won’t feel lost within an institution. All our centers are small and homey. We wear normal clothes and our rooms are brightly decorated, exciting and inviting.

“My now 2 year old daughter has been going to [Happy Bunnies] nursery in Gillingham since Feb 2011 and my partner and I couldn’t ask for any more!!
Her development and social skills are amazing.
She talks at the rate of a 3 year old and that’s because the people at [Happy Bunnies] actually care about the children’s education not about making money!”

Family Environment

As a family-run business, we add the personal touch. We’re not detached investors only interested in profit – we care for the welfare and development of your child.

We and many of our staff are parents and all our children go to Happy Bunnies too.

Friendly, qualified staff and stimulating play equipment complement the homey atmosphere. This familiar setting allows babies to settle with ease. Our trained, caring staff support baby during the transition from home to daycare, and provide parents with the needed assistance during this important time.

Happy babies - that's what we're about

Babies to Toddlers

The brightly colored Happy Bunnies rooms provide children with a stimulating, safe and clean environment. There are quiet areas and a black and white area in the babies’ room – which helps the children feel comfortable. The toddlers’ rooms have games, little chairs, craft and learning materials.

Happy Bunnies staff understand how to support babies as they develop, giving them encouragement to become independent. Your baby will sleep in a seperate cot and never share it or the bedding with other babies. These cots are carefully supervised and monitored regularly. Our sleeping arragements enforce the association of their cot at home – we find this helps babies settle into the daycare environment more effectively.

As the children grow, our experienced and highly qualified teachers will offer you advice and support on your child’s personal needs such as weaning, daily routines and sleep patterns. Our feeding schedule is updated when needed but not less than every 30 days.

Each child’s development is regularly recorded, and parents receive verbal feedback from key workers and other staff. We plan, monitor and document individual progress and group activities. You will also receive daily diaries full of updates on your babies day, pictures or videos. You will never miss any of the pressious moments in your baby’s life.

Your child’s progress at Happy Bunnies is provided as a written record of their development day to day.
