How exciting, it’s November already. November is one of my favorite months. So much to do and so much to see!
The first two weeks of this month will be dedicated to having fun in the rain. The weather has been getting colder, and we are embracing it with much fun. Please don’t forget your water boots and raincoats!
We will be talking a lot about different seasons and the weather we can expect each season in return.
Our wet theme will continue with science experiments; we will be testing different objects and learn about floating and sinking. We will be reading weather books and learning some “rainy” songs too.
We will start our Thanksgiving theme in the third week of the month. We will be learning about the history of Thanksgiving and family appreciation through stories, pictures, and songs. We will be moving and dancing to Thanksgiving songs and music. We will also use Thanksgiving dinner to learn a bit more about healthy food and healthy eating.
