Give Your Child the #1 Preschool Curriculum

The Number 1 Preschool Curriculum

As our preschool curriculum, we follow the UK Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. This system was established by the British Office for Standards in Education, and uses six overlapping age bands. Every child is different, and children do not grow and develop at the same rate or in the same way.

We spent years building our preschool curriculum on this academically–proven foundation. It’s a unique, integrated program that evolves as your child gains confidence and develops at Happy Bunnies Child Care School.

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets the standards that [Happy Bunnies Child Care School] meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.

It promotes teaching and learning to ensure children’s ‘school readiness’ and gives children the broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for good future progress through school and life.

What Parents Say About Our Curriculum…

Happy Bunnies is filled with a genuine and loving staff which makes this mom feel so lucky. My toddler is so happy every morning at drop off and is thriving in his class. The owner and teachers have gone above and beyond with compassion and care for my family. I could not recommend this place more!

My daughter absolutely loves going to happy bunnies. She talks about her teacher Elle DAILY and says she misses her on days she doesn't go! They are very flexible and accommodating.

We are very happy with this daycare and would recommend it to any parent. Our boys (ages 4 and 1) have loved coming every day for the last 8 months.

The teachers are caring, communicative, and invested in developing age-appropriate curricula and classroom activities. Our kids love the special guests (Music Man Doug and Bilingual Boogie). We also love that there's an ample age-appropriate outdoor space.

Before this, we were at a more corporate style daycare. We prefer Happy Bunnies, which has more of a family feel. The owner/director is involved in day-to-day activities, and the teachers really teach and pay attention to development (whereas at our previous daycare it felt more like they were just watching the kids).

Magdalena MacLeod

Meet Happy Bunnies Director Magdalena MacLeod

Born to a family in the childcare and teaching sector for generations, Magdalena trained as a daycare & pre-school teacher. She graduated from the Slovak Pedagogical Academy in 1993 with distinction.

Then, 11 years ago, she took over a chain of centers in England that had been running for over 20 years. They provided the foundation for her early learning centers in England and over here in Austin, Texas.

Today, she personally runs the Happy Bunnies Early Learning Center in Oak Hill, Austin. When you drop off your child at Happy Bunnies, you know they are in Magdalena’s care, someone with decades of experience in the child care sector. You are not leaving them with an anonymous manager in a large corporate chain. She cares and has the experience and the unique attention to detail from owning and operating her own school.

Magdalena would love to meet you and show you around her Austin Happy Bunnies.
